That sounds a lot like life. There’s all this other shit that’s going on (paying bills, having a boss, doing laundry, going to the grocery store, dressing yourself) that can cause anxiety and depression (which happens to me) that you just have to get through and do what you love. THAT is what school prepares you for. You can’t let school get to you. Let them educate you, but don’t let them indoctrinate you. Learning to learn (and kick ass) through all the bullshit.

(I’m going to have to come back and read this after every bad day I have. Thanks, Past Melissa! You ain’t too bad, even if you are a little lazy.)
